I'm so exhausted, but in a good way. Saturday was a loooong but awesome day. Started my motorcycle class in the morning. This was the classroom one from 9-3 and my two riding classes are July 1st and 2nd. The best part was we had to take a 50 question test at the end and I passed! Yay! Now I just need to pass the riding course and I'm getting my fucking motorcycle license! BOOYAH!

After that I went to Home Depot to get some gloves for the class. Then went to Market Basket and returned cans and bottles while dad shopped and got 7$! Yay!

Got home for a quick bite and hopped on a train to Boston. The train had no lights or AC so they gave us a free ride. That was awesome. But the train did get in wicked late because of "mechanical difficulties." After finally getting there I headed over to Cambridge and met up with Heather, Jess, and Tiffany. The coolest part was that I met them at a Cathedral on Magazine Street. Hehe. We were wicked pumped for the concert so we decided to go over to TT's early to see if we could see the guys. We hung outside for a while, made some Canadian friends (Brian and Derek) and after a while we saw Michael, Josh, and Danny go in and that was cool. When the doors finally opened we went in and went to go look at the merch and they all bought shirts (I have one already ^_^) and they had free stickers! Yay! Then Tiffany and I played a hilarious game of pool which at one point involved Tiffany trying to shoot and not hit Michael in the eye with her cue so he could still play later :p When we finished our ridiculous game (I won, she got the 8 ball in early) I grabbed my deck of cards and discovered that not a one of them knows how to play poker. The next time I see them, they will have to be taught! We played a half a game of crazy eights and then was distracted by Danny and some other guy playing pool (very well). Our Canadian friends came back and started a game of pool and shortly after Slow Runner was on! Whoo! They played (in no particular order) Long Division (new song!) and 2 other songs that weren't on the album so I don't know the name of, Break Your Mama's Back, Streamlined, Happy, Redneck Bar, Everything is Exactly What it Seems, and ended with You're in Luck! I was terrified they weren't going to play that last one but I needed to hear it so I was veeeery happy when they started it. And wow did they rock the fuck out! Last time they were in Boston it was just Michael and Josh so it was awesome, but not nearly as amazing as this show was. Wow. And the audience seemed to like them as well! The drunken Canadians enjoyed them and loved my bag as well.

After they played we went over and I forgot to bring my cd to have them sign it, so I got them to sign my Batman bag! Michael dragged me over into the light so he could sign it and wrote "I'm Batman. -MEF". Then he proceeded to say that he remembered me from myspace and the last Boston show they played and I was slightly embarrased but it was awesome. We chatted for a bit, I asked him if they were going to record any more albums soon and he said they didn't have plans yet but he'd love to. He complimented my bag and ninja turtles shirt and we just small talked for a while. It was one of those conversations where it is awkward because neither person shows intention of leaving but you don't have much to talk about. After several minutes of this I said I had to run catch a train and he gave me a hug and thanked me for coming out and all. I left all giddy. Found Danny next and he signed my bag "EDWTDINPML. DMC" He said there wasn't enough room to write it out so he wrote an acronym of "Ever dance with the devil in the pale moon light." I love that he apparently loves Batman. Then I found Josh and he wrote "Hell Yeah...Josh Kaler" and that was awesome. Then we had to run and Danny walked us to the T station and we figured we had a little time so we hung out at the top while they all finished smoking. We went down and found out that the T stop was token or pass only and I was the only one with a token so I don't know what they did but I got on the T and made it home. Something very interesting seems to have happened to Heather, Jess, and Tiff because Heather is going to call me later and tell me the story and there was a chance they'd get grounded? I don't even know but I can't wait to hear about it!

Ok. That was stupidly long, but so worth it. And Slow Runner is now my newest icon. I'll probably make it better soon, but it'll do for now ^_^

I feel very accomplished. I finished the first rough cut of the entire Dockstreet film today. It comes in at about 97 minutes, not too shabby. More will have to be cut, but none of the concert footage is in it yet and that is already edited. I think this might actually be pretty decent when it is finished.

My first feature length film. Amazing, isn't it? To think that all of this was spawned from a simple post on the jumphq site. If they hadn't allowed us to film the concerts I don't know if I ever would have brought the camera on the trip. Looking back on it now, it was probably the best idea ever.

I almost don't want to be done editing it, because I don't want that sense of closure. Not yet.

Well now that my camera has been returned to me, I'm uploading even more footage for the film. I've just finished uploading the opiate picnic, after night three, and leaving day. It is wicked sad. We were so incredibly happy after the last show. We had all of our new friends that we became really close too, we had the high from Jump playing their last few songs outside, and we had a toast to our favourite band with a bunch of friends who shared our passion.

By the time we get onto the bus we are all pretty down and don't want to leave Charleston. It is tough to watch. I really would love to go back this summer, but it depends on if I'm able to get a flexible job or not. And then it wouldn't be quite the same without the concerts, but I'd be able to go and enjoy the city! And see Emi again, which would be the coolest thing ever.

can we go back and recapture that moment?
